2nd follow up:

Having now revisited all databases, I experience the following
behavior:

My ticker bar drop down list appears permanently stuck on my largest
Japan EOD database (which is not even the default database). Even
when opening my US stock EOD database, only the large Japan EOD
symbols are available. Selecting any of them opens a US stock, but
with the code and full name of a Japanese company in the ticker bar
window.

Fortunately, the CORRECT code and symbol appear in the main program
titlebar. But this is of course not good behavior, and makes useless
the ticker bar for symbol selection.

YT> YT> I have 5 datbases. Four are EOD, and one is RT (esignal).

YT> YT> One small EOD database that I used to update completely by hand each
YT> YT> day is still designated as default.

YT> YT> After installing 4.74.1 today, and visiting at least 4 of the 5
YT> YT> databases, I notice a disconnect between symbol availability in the
YT> YT> tickerbar and what is actually in a database.

YT> YT> For example, when opening AB initially now, the small EOD database
YT> YT> designated default opens, as it should. But viewable in the ticker
YT> YT> bar drop down menu are symbols that are absolutely NOT in that
YT> YT> database. They are symbols from a much larger EOD database. These
YT> YT> symbols do NOT show in the symbol tree for the small database, they
YT> YT> only show in the drop down ticker bar list.

YT> YT> If I select one of those "phantom" symbols via the ticker bar, a
YT> YT> chart appears, with the symbol and full name of the "phantom" in the
YT> YT> ticker bar. But it's not the actual chart of the "phantom". It's
YT> YT> one of the actual symbols in the small database. "Information"
YT> YT> reveals the true identity of the actual chart.

YT> YT> So, something is very wrong here, and I'd sure like to know if I have
YT> YT> company, or am alone.
