I need to follow up on this:

When initially opening the program now, the last chart viewed in the
default database opens.  (Normal, of course.)  But, the ticker bar is
empty, although the drop down list is populated -- with a list
apparently from a different database.

Using the symbol tree (which contains the CORRECT set of symbols for
the database) to select a chart, puts the correct chart on the screen
(I know my stocks). ^_^  But the ticker bar remains empty, and the
ticker bar drop down list remains populated with symbols and names
that are all apparently from another database.

Closing and reopening does not appear to have any effect on this.  I
seem stuck with a disconnect between the symbol tree and the ticker
bar.  It is the ticker bar that is wrong; the symbol tree is 100
percent accurate.
