Hi,
On my ToDo list is to create a 1-minute data exploration of IB data. The idea is simple:
1) Exploration starts
2) For each symbol in a Watchlist, retrieve the latest 5 days of 1-minute bars from IB.
3) After a symbol's data is retrieved, analyze it using several indicators.
Here's the issue - when I tried this, the exploration worked perfectly on the data CURRENTLY in the AB client database. However, it did NOT retrieve new data (step 2, above) from IB prior to analyzing it.
The only way that I was able to retrieve IB data was to choose a symbol and charting it.
Is there an AB setting that I'm missing? A function that I need to put in the Exploration?
