You may have made a change your custom indicator
window, and then forgot to click on the APPLY checkmark at the top of your
custom indicator window.
At other times when the popup tips window will not
appear, I just hold the cursur over the price chart that I always have open
above my custom indicator window, and the popup menu ALWAYS appears there.
Then when I move it down to the custom indicator window, it somehow starts
working again. Kind of like priming the pump to start the water flowing

I also have that problem. Sometimes the
tooltip will fade half out. Other times I simply cannot get the tooltip
to appear even though the cursor seems to be directly over the bar. Bugs
me too...

Hi,
I'm beginning to believe that I would do a
better job of trading if it
would be possible for me to stabilize the
chart data Tool Tip data box long
enough for me to read the data
contained therein.
I have tried slowly lifting the pointer (I use a
stylus) -- which does
work, however as one gets older, I find my hand
is not too rock steady.
I have searched HELP, and find nothing that
is worth while. I am aware of
the tool tip time out (seconds) during
which the TT is supposed to be
available before collapsing. I find
that control to essentially be non-op.
The max. is supposedly 32 sec.
which would be more than long enough for me,
but it does not seem to
really work. I'm sure that the problem is mine and
not AB's, but I'm
just too dense to make it work for me.
I'd appreciate any thoughts
on this subject.
