This requires a daily database. Turning on mixed allows each R/T update
to update today's values so you can see all your daily indicators being
updated in real time. You leave the display on daily data.
This works great for attempting to trade today's close instead of
tomorrow's open on your signals. (Of course, you aren't trading EXACTLY
what you are testing, but I believe it's close enough at 3:55. You make
your own decision on that front.)
To be clear, you do NOT save intra-day data in this mode. You only have
daily data on a daily database with the OHLC of the data constantly
being updated.

| could somebody explain how mixing EOD /intraday works for Esignal
| datasource ? Does that mean that during trading day I switch database
| to e.g. 15 min or hourly or 5 min Base Time Interval and next day I
| switch to Eod-of-Day base time interval and backfill automatically
| whole database and then again witch to intraday Base time Interval ?
| I.E. manually switching base time frame .

| Or is it something automatical inside ?Could somebody explain it
| better to me ?

| And how correctly set up database with Intraday and also EOD quotes
| (esignal datasource).
