I have been following this topic with interest as I believe
that enhancements such as these would greatly improve the user friendliness
of AB at a very basic level.
If I could make a wish regarding the management of stocks
from within Workspace, I would like to see functionality along the lines of
Windows Explorer where one can quickly highlight, copy, paste &/or
delete in a very simple and quick manner.
With all the power that AB has, I find it tedious,
frustrating and very time consuming when using Workspace. I know
that there are those with computer skills greater than mine who are not
necessarily troubled by the current set-up however little things like this
are just as important selling points to new users with limited
skills.
Don't get me wrong, I think AB is a great product it's
just the simple things that can really make it so much
better.

It was said "as long as the code is already displayed in the
workspace" All symbols are displayed in the workspace. They will always be
in ALL, Markets, Groups and Sectors even if only in default
List0. Watchlists are optional membership for symbols, as is favourites
and index.
I do have to remember that a lot of people use the pull
down box for stocks but I rarely do, as using workspace is far more
convenient for me.
