Really? (Not a question about whether you are special, but only
whether the focus is retained.) ^_^
For me . . . never. Let's be sure we are doing the same thing.
I have a ticker symbol highlighted in the ticker window. Typing a
symbol followed by an 'Enter' immediately allows a symbol change. I
leave AB to switch to my e-mail client, or to a web page. I come
back to AB. The ticker symbol is no longer highlighted, and numerical
input (we use numbers for symbols) does not go to the ticker window
(indeed, no input goes to the ticker window before F4 is pressed).
