Hey Steve,
I had a similar problem where everytime I opened a
chart in one database the defaults would be all wrong or there was an
error. My solution was to create a new database, add a symbol and then
open a new window and put just the price indicator on it. Once this was
looking the way I wanted it, I right-clicked on the chart, went to Template and
chose Save as Default. Then when I opened the original database, I could
load the default template and all was well.

Subject: [amibroker] AMI locks up on
loading...due to bad indicator
I put an indicator on a chart and it hung the
program. So, I closed and reloaded AMI...but it won't finish loading.
I get the screen to come up with the message in a box saying
Starting up.. please wait
My assumption is that there was
some infinite loop or other error in this indicator but how can I shake it
off.
I have looked in the files of AMI but no success. I have looken
in registry and no obvious steps to take there.
I have rebooted as well
but no change.
Anyone know the secret to going back...hopefully short
of a reinstall but if that is the only way then let me know.
Thanks
in advance,
Steve aka Forex5x
