Dear JOE, It looked very promising, but
unfortunatly I'm getting the same additional window after executing the
code. Following your example, I translated the WScript code into the VB
code:
Dim oABD
Set oAB =
New Broker.Application Set oABD =
oAB.Documents oABD.Open
("HD") 'Open Ticker Home Depot
Set oABD = Nothing
Set oAB = Nothing
After going through the
motions of various COM code,I have a feeling I may have to use a means
other than COM to achieve my objective. I also tried executing a similar
jscript and got the same results. Thanks JOE for the reply.
