I don't know about programming and the higher math involved, but I am a
trader, and I use amibroker with a live feed from Interative Brokers and it
rocks! AB is one "toy" I wouldn't trade without. I used to used Supercharts
back in the day and the tech support was awful. AB always gives a prompt
answer.
Bottom line... If it's putting $ in the bank, call it what you will, I'm
using it. Besides, software doesn't make the trader, the trader makes the
software work for his style of trading. I personnally think both programs
are great, AB is just more bang for the buck.
