Those interested in Linux,

The biggest question vexing linux newbs is What in heck distribution do
I use!!!

At 600+ mb for basic installs, And around 4-5 popular distros around -
OMG where do I start?

And I prefer Fedora Core Linux.

So there's a starting point. There are at least 3 people (Marek, Dale
and me) with 3 common distros.
SUSE
MANDRAKE
FEDORA

(I know Fedora install disks are often available from local newsagents
if downloading is an issue.)

Why do I use Fedora?
The main reason is software availability, IMHO There are more
programs prepackaged for Fedora Core than
most other distros. I recommend Fedora Core 3 at this time (Core2 is
outdated and Core4 is still in test)
