Hello ZWZ IMHO, I know it's temping to
get the quotes from Yahoo for no added charge, and I've depended on
them
before indices that I couldn't get else where, but
I've found over the past 2 1/2 years that you'll be better
served to subscribe to one of the economical data
provider services. For EOD data I've found the best price performer
and
best Amibroker plugin to be Quotes Plus 3.
You'll get EOD stocks, mutual funds, and indices(market breadth
and
other metrics) for around $30 USD a month on an
annual subscription. Maybe someday Yahoo will get it together but
they are not consistent and can change your
environment at their whim and discretion.
Best regards
JOE

Subject: [amibroker] Data Reliablity
[Yahoo], Help Please
Hi,
I am a new user of AmiBroker. After just a
week with AmiQuote, I have found the EOD data downloaded from Yahoo
Historical are VERY unreliabl. Almost all Volume data are NOT
correct.
My question is what data feed should I use. Because I do not
know how to download data from E*Trade(my broker), do I need to buy from a
data vender. If so, whick one is your recommandation? (I only need EOD
data of US Stocks).
Thanks a
lot.
