It's not clear what you're trying to do. Are you trying to mark certain
dates?
If so, I think you need to convert to DateNum() format. The formula is
in HELP.
You might also want to set w,x,y,z to True or 1 and add ,0,1 to your
plot statement to get a vertical bar that fills the chart top to bottom
as in:
Plot(w,"1st Q", colorWhite,styleHistogram|styleOwnScale,0,1);
