Yes, that does it.  I felt AB was taking more CPU before changing.
(as much as 50%). Trading session just ended so I will know for sure
tomorrow.

Now, what does this parameter do?

Hello,

One thing I forgot, you may go to 
FILE -> DATABASE SETTINGS ,
click on "CONFIGURE" and

UNCHECK 
"Force instant quote retrieval for all symbols" 

checkbox.
