good points... Another major difficulty with pattern-recognition AFL 
is actually backtesting it.

Does anyone know of a framework (ie AFL coding structure/design 
pattern) that would allow for backtesting/optmization?  instead of 
just exploring?

Most of the stuff in the library just highlights recent patterns, 
while historical patterns are typically not shown.

hopefully someone can prove me wrong.
