Which version have you got?
What operating system are you using (windows XP etc)?
How are you getting data into it? Text file import, MS databse plugin etc?
What markets are you trying to import?
Also need to check your database settings and preference settings that
they are correct. These should all be in the help screens for setting
up AB abd managing database.
My thought on the internet connection error is that may you have
created an intraday database which needs a feed for it to connect.
Try creating a new database for end of day only.
Do NOT delete anything unless you are instructed by AB support. If you
update you should be able to install over the top of your existing AB.
Make sure you keep your key file backed up in a safe place
(Brokey.dll) Although you can get a replacement from amibroker support
