Sorry for two messages on this subject.
I have MS Visual C++ on my development XP system. It was installed
on the system before installing SP2 and it seems to continue to work
fine. I just recompiled one of my most complex programs to see if it
worked afterward. It compiled and worked fine. Thankfully they did
not screw that up too.
