My computer certainly has a chip (Intel) made in the US. The rest of
it likely Indonesia or Taiwan, or China. The monitor was made in
Korea, or in Japan by a Korean company. The US doesn't do flat
panels very well, in case you haven't noticed.
Nobody, least of me, is predicting the end of the US. However, if
you think you can keep printing dollars at will and that the rest of
the world is going to keep honoring them at present value: think
again.
