Thanks. After posting my question I also found an editor by Adersoft,
$30 USD for full function debug, break points.
A no charge trial version works so far for me with context color coding.

I have Visual Studio, which ofcourse supports Jscript. But another
great
tool that will support just about any scripting language is EditPlus.
All
you need to do is add your own language definition file (which there
are
tons already out there for EditPlus)..

Polling to see what practices are used by the forum members - Would
  appeciate some advice and info.

What editors do you use to write jScript? I'm using Textpad but don't
have
  the 'context sensitive'
color coding that I have for Amibroker.

Do you use desktop short cuts or command line entries to run your
jScripts,
  say job batches for example?

Assuming you're running native jscript and loading AFL forumlas one
after
  another, (I know you
can test the boolean of the forumla load) how do you communicate the
  successful completion
of a composite(ATC) build for example? Will this run within AFL? -
  WScript.Echo("End of Composite 1")

  Thanks in advance
  Joe
