[amibroker] Re: Interactive Brokers and Amibroker

I am using IB to feed into QT. Also use IQFeed ($20 a month)
to backfill into QT. QT in turn feeds into Amibroker.

The arrangement works very well. However, I am not day-trading.

My understanding is that QT does not provide a true streaming
interface to Amibroker (like eSignal or IB).

With Amibroker, you cannot have realtime from IB and backfill
from IQFeed. i.e. the feed and the backfill have to be the same.
If I am mistaken I would be very happy to hear from somone.

Why has no one written a data plugin for Amibroker which can take a
real time feed from IB and a backfill from IQFeed ??

IB does not offer backfill.

cheers,
Senthil

like the woodies pivots in QT so I draw them in to the AMI chart.
