Re: [amibroker] Copying Indicators

Hi,

Any reason not to move our entire AFL folder under the new Formulas folder?

That is where all my file-based indicators (some shipped with AB; mostly
mine) have been stored.

One caveat for me: I had my Include folder under my AFL folder, so I will
need to repoint to that in Preferences |
AFL.

BTW, does anyone know what the Advanced folder under the Formulas folder is
for?

Herman:

Here's an easier way without even using AB. Go to the Formulas folder
under Amibroker or whatever subfolder under Formulas and double-click
the indicator that you want to use as the basis for your new indicator
(or any indicator, for that matter). Write your code, save it under a
new name, and that's it. When you load AB, you'll see the new indicator
under the appropriate folder in the Charts menu.
