In the meantime, for everyone, I suggest a stop gap measure,
something I used to do to protect myself against my own error when I
was first learning the program: In custom indicators, keep an empty
blank at the top of your list. That way only a useless blank gets
overwritten.
Sadly, this is impossible with the built-ins. My Acc/Dist is gone.
