Quite frankly Bob, I don't think you are a qualified arbiter of
whether someone has put "effort" into writing their code.  Nor, I
suspect, is that even a necessary qualification (nice, yes, but not
necessary) to receive an answer here.  This list used to be about
friendly sharing.  I sense a change, and I don't like it.
