I am happy to see one more indian using this software. I am from mumbai.
you need to download amiquote software also. if it is not installed or downloaded on your pc then download it from this link : http://www.amibroker.com/download.html#amiquote
and install the amiquote software.
If it is installed then follow the following steps :
1. Run Amibroker software
2. click on tools menu then select autoupdate option
3. step 2 will run amiquote software
4. select source : Yahoo historical
5. add ticker : ACC.BO, HLL.BO, BHEL.BO, SBI.BO etc. to download historical prices of such scrips.
6. now change the date and select auto import option
7. now click on download option.
8. after downloading is complete, go back to amibroker software and save database.
note : when you download quotes, amibroker software should be open or run mode.
