OK, I found out what was wrong: the alert had to be enabled from the AA in
Preferences (not mentioned in the function reference), and enable repeat
alerts this code will do it:

AlertIf(True, "EXEC C:\\Program Files\\AmiBroker\\O3G.exe","",0,0);

I am halfway there, the only thing left now is to pass the Optimize.csv
argument to the O3G.exe in the Alert function, anybody knows how to do that?

  What i am after is an automatic 3D chart refresh after each explore or
  Backtest, so that i can leave the 3D chart displayed on another monitor
  while I develop code and do research. Perhaps an afl function like
  Refresh3DChart() would be nice :-)

  An suggestions on how to get this to work?

    you are actually wanting to achieve.

    If you trying to get the alertif function to execute the 3D Optimization
    chart then here is the code:

    But if its something else your after, something to do with AmiQuote
