You can Plot a foreign equity just like a non-foreign symbol without using
StyleLeftAxisScale or StyleOwnScale, in which case all should be normal. The
use of alternate scales is only required when you have multiple things to
plot that canšt use the same scale, for example; an index at prices around
2000 and a stock with prices around 5 or an RSI (0-100) and so on. This is
when I break out the alternate axis choices.
Specifically StyleLeftAxisScale will plot an overlay using a second axis
(like in Excel) so the scaling will be independent of whatever is plotted on
the primary (right axis, opposite of Excel) and thus, show up and fill the
chart area automatically. I like to timeš indexes and track other things so
I put my index (e.g.; ^IXIC) on StyleLeftAxisScale and the other items, like
RSI on the normal scale. The only drawback to the StyleLeftAxisScale is some
items, such as plotgrid cannot access the left axis.
If Išve told you something you already know, apologies...maybe it will be
useful to others.
I havenšt reviewed the rest of your email yet.
