I just mine up as you described and It works. Do you get a msg that says 0
Tickers found? If so then you don't have anything in watchlist 0. Other
than that I dunno.

I have edited your script file back to be exactly as your original
submission (no modifications by me whatsoever) and have placed it in my
C:\Program Files\Amibroker folder. (this is the folder where I have
installed my AB - 4.60.3). As you surmised, I simply would like to run one
of my Watchlists at a SlideShow command prompt within AB from the Tools menu
and without having run an Explore scan.
Under Tools command menu>Customize.I select SlideShow and fill-in the
following in the dialogue boxes below:
Command: C:\Program Files\Amibroker\SlideShow.vbs
Arguments: Leave blank
Initial directory: C:\Program Files\Amibroker
Prompt for arguments: checked
When I go to Tools>SlideShow a dialogue box pops up and into which I type:
0:10 to access Watchlist 0 with 10 second delay between screens. However,
all that happens is that another incidence of AB opens up with whatever
ticker I had showing in the original AB and no magic Slide Show.
As I previously said, I have no experience with script writing but I must be
doing something wrong because your Slide Show seems so work great for other
users.

1. You MUST place the script file in the Amibroker folder - NOT a subfolder.
2. I don't understand what you did when you state:
I have edited the script file to flag the 'Scripts' folder as follows:
Target: "C:\Program Files\Amibroker\Scripts\SlideShow.vbs" XX:YY
If you're running the script from AB/Tools then you don't need a shortcut.
3. When entering the the aruguments you should be entering 0:10 (if you're
wanting watchlist 0 and a 10 second pause).

Hi Dingo,
I have been trying to configure my system to get your SlideShow.vbs script
to work. Sounds like a great utility. Unfortunately, I have no experience
with script writing but I have unpacked and installed the above
SlideShow.vbs script into my C:\Program Files\Amibroker\Scripts folder and
can see the SlideShow command in the Tools menu of AB. When I click on
>Tools>SlideShow I get an Arguments box pops up and I type in List 0 and hit
OK and all that happens is another incidence of AB opens up but no slide
show.
I have edited the script file to flag the 'Scripts' folder as follows:
Target: "C:\Program Files\Amibroker\Scripts\SlideShow.vbs" XX:YY
I have left the following line in the script as is:
Const cstABPath = "C:\Program Files\Amibroker"
I have changed nothing else in your script file.
