Hi Tomasz,

To further answer this question Tomasz, I have to go back to
something that has been commented on before, and no solution reached.

As you know, the DL is a completely separate program, not really
attached to anything, including Metastock. This is unlike the Quote
Editor in AB, which is actually part of AB. The result of the tie is
very inconvenient for me, because the DL can be opened to a small
size, and positioned, unobtrusively, over ANY WINDOW that is open,
and data can be easily copied from that open window into the DL. Very
convenient; very easy.

The Quote Editor, however, CANNOT, ever, be opened above any window
other than AB (a fact which, by the way, lends itself to the question
then of why the QE window is so small, since one need NOT ever see AB
behind the QE, because one is never copying or entering data that is
already displayed in AB). ^_-

Since that is the case, one cannot easily manually update data in the
Quote Editor, unless one has that data stored in one's head. There is
no way that I can see to easily copy data manually, and this is
indeed what I need to do. So the current structure of being unable
to position the Quote Editor over my trading screen, or over other
EOD data that I update manually (A/D Lines, New 52 week highs/lows,
etc., etc.) is quite inconvenient.

One possible, but very inconvenient workaround would be to tile every
open window on my screen. But at the very least that would require
me to shut all open windows except AB and whatever source I'm copying
from -- very inconvenient as I, like many traders, have *numerous*
windows open at any one time. However, in the case of my trading
screen, that would make some issues not visible without scrolling. So
AB presents (me, if no one else) with no easy solution here. I wish
you could come up with something that would allow manual data update
via a window that could be positioned over any other open window. I
realize that would probably have to be a separate program like
Amiquote, but I would pay for the privilege, especially since I would
no longer be dependent on Equis or Reuters, who are not going to
update my Downloader to anything that works with SP-2 unless I buy a
brand new Metastock package.

Do you see my problems? They may be rather unusual, even unique, but
they are real nonetheless.

Yuki
