My wifešs (previously unprotected) computer was infected by trojan
downloader last month. Took me 8 hours to get it clean. She received this
virus not from email (for which she has a good spam detector) , but from
simply surfing a website (we donšt know which one). The virus writeršs are
as bad as terrorists and their methods are getting more insidious all the
time. AV protection is a necessary evil.
