Could be, but I just recall the saying, "a camel is a horse, designed by committee."

We might see some interesting posts and find out what is really possible.... right now this is rather unknown, there have been some vaque claims... I bet if somebody posted even a moderately good locked system you would be interested to see how it works, you'd run the code, especially if there were discussions on how to rate the system, pros and cons, etc. :-) I think it would be educational... But probably nobody would post anything anyway... :-))) so we just keep quessing as to what really can be done and what goals to aim for.

Anyway, no big deal to me either way.

best regards,
herman.

Herman,

Not to quibble, but who would be willing to conduct a thorough system analysis on a system they ultimately will not have access to?

It would be neat to have an encryption or privacy key, especially if you can add an expiry date. It would allow us to let someone else evaluate and critique our systems without revealing ideas that took years to develop.  Right now many traders have to spend way more time the needed to evaluate and analyze their systems simply because they work alone or very small teams. An evaluation by an outsider would often quickly reveal system problems.

Anyway, AB will also offer a key one day, or perhaps a new way to wrap afl code as-is in a DLL. This would also speed up development of general purpose DLLs...

best regards,
herman.
