Hi Henry

The Professional version costs extra
dollars and allows you to access tick data where as the Standard version (if I
am correct) allows you live data down to the minute level using the IB, RT data
feed.  Check out the AmiBroker web site for the extra cost involved, you
will not go broke upgrading.

I am proposing to scalp the Australian SPI,
however it is still in the early days as I have only just commenced receiving
live data.   Hopefully there are others who scalp and we may all be
able to exchange ideas.

All the best

Ken

Using RT Tick Data

Hi Ken,

I just started trying Amibroker with IB RT data
feed.  I mostly focus
on emini futures scalp trade.  Will love any
advice or ideas.

Do I have to register in order to use the
Professional version and
save the data into the database (harddisk)?

Thanks.
