Thanks Graham - I'll do as you suggest.
While I realize that adjusting the properties will do it, it just seems a little illogical to me that a HORIZONTAL line has TWO end points to adjust. By definition, they have to be the same, so why not just have one?
In Ami, if the two values are NOT identical, it becomes a sloping line - but when I choose the horizontal line tool, that usually means that I want a horizontal line.....
Also, not having any feedback at all as to WHERE the horizontal line is being put (no ticks on the Y-axis, and no mouse cursor position box) means that all I can do is put it SOMEWHERE near where I think it should go.
In MetaStock (sorry for the comparison, but I'm coming from MS to Ami) I can see where the line is being put according to the Y-axis ticks, then just fine-tune it if I miss the mark, by going to Properties then adjusting a SINGLE value, usually only by a tiny amount.
Sorry - I'm probably being picky, but I use horizontal lines a lot and it just seems less than easy compared to what I'm used to.
