What I know is that there is a difference, that fx does not count
with Fibonacci series numbers, period.
None of any of the Fibonacci numbers 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55 run in any
sequence on in particular the eur/usd, if they did, obviously I'd use
them not Lucas.
I don't understand how/what you're comparing from your explanation
Bill, your comparison appears to net out at zero for both Lucas and
Fibonacci which seems to me odd.
Only because I knew of the Lucas series prior to trading fx did it
dawn on me one day that the count wasn't Fibonacci but Lucas numbers
that I started to count with Lucas specifically. I wouldn't know how
to go about proving it but my answer for why the count is Lucas is
simply the amount of trading days/hours, 24/7 v '8'/5 for the rest of
the markets.
I don't know that anyone else counts as I do, never actually got a
response from anyone about my posts to say they've tried Lucas and it
does/does not count, so your investigation is actually quite welcome
as I think about it, an 'independant 3rd party' review.
But are you an fx trader Bill or the other stuff ?
I'm working on a pdf now which will include 'Fibonacci series numbers
charts' and just finished a eur/usd Monthly — the easiest timeframe
to count and got 2 'perfect' 76 and 29 counts — you need the chart.
So your response and review of my posts is timely and will probably
improve the contents of the pdf if you're prepared to investigate
some more and give me your feedback.
What's a '1 sigma ' ?
Will look for your chart on Purebytes tomorrow, hopefully understand
what you're referring to then get back to you.
Wallace.
