Having been a draftsman in another life (pre computers, yes we did draw with
pencils, ink pens, set squares and compasses), the French curve is just a
series of changing radius curved lines. By simply moving the curves you can
make them fit any set of points. I even still have mine in the bottom
drawer.
Ie the ultimate method of curve fitting.
As far as using it for trading ? Hindsight indicator only of joining the
dots.
Just my thoughts.
