Filling Gaps in Intraday Data Files
Hello,
This is not necessary. AB automatically handles this during
ASCII import so NO duplicates are generated.
(Imported data overwrite existing bars with the same
date/time - no duplicate bar is generated )

<FONT face=Arial
color=#0000ff size=2>seems to me that you'll need to export the existing
quotes to a file and then merge that data with the Ascii data producing a
file that contains a complete set of quotes. Then you can import that file
back into AB.

<FONT face=Arial
color=#0000ff size=2>There are many examples of importing and exporting
so your main problem will be a procedure to merge the 2 quote sources into
one without duplicating any bars.

[amibroker] Filling Gaps in Intraday Data Files
I am collecting intraday data via the IB plug-in. I also
have accessto intraday ASCII files. How would I go about filling in
the datagaps in the IB data files with the data contained in the ASCII
files.I've been able to find the instructions for importing ASCII
datafiles, but I don't see how I would go about integrating that with
theIB files.Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in
