Hi, Salil:

I had TC2K before I got Amibroker, so I cannot comment about exporting to
Metastock format and then accessing from AB. Guess you'll have to ask "The
Man". :-) Regarding sharing derivations from TC2K data, I can't imagine any
software vendor objecting to that. After all, you are the one who generated
the buy signal, or the hypothetical indicator, presumably using AB. They
just provided the data from which you derived something. People on this
board post code all the time that was used in backtesting system ideas using
a vendor's data. A vendor couldn't possibly lay claim to that. As for
sharing exported csv files from the vendor's source data, again, how will
the vendor even find out if your csv file came from the vendor's data or
some other source? It could have been downloaded from Yahoo or somewhere
else. I wouldn't worry about that.
