I have an artificial ticker I'm using to track an external general buy/sell
signal, using 1 in all fields for buy, 0 for sell.
The problem is that I can't seem to enter the zeros in the quote editor (I
imported historical data to start this off). When I click 'new', set the
date, leave all data at zero and click OK, the new line isn't added. I
created a new quote with 2 as the values temporarily, and that worked fine,
but when I click that line, change the values to 0 and click OK, the changes
aren't saved. If I click any other line after editing but before clicking
OK, as described in the help, the date on that line disappears, and OK still
doesn't save the change.
I know that in the import wizard, you have to turn on 'Allow negative
prices' to do this, but I can't find a similar setting for the quote editor.
What am I missing?
If it matters, I'm using AB 4.5.3 beta.
Thanks,
Dave Merrill
