while, but just got fed up with some of its limitations, tried a number of other
editors and went with UltraEdit, which is great, and uninstalled
ConTEXT.

<SPAN
class=148522001-14022004>Did I miss that ConTEXT has a search and
replace that can automatically redo a 2-byte length stored just before the
strings it replaces? UltraEdit doesn't, I think (it's actually limited to
overstrike editing in hex mode), and neither does my old standby HexEdit. Far as
I can tell, Hackman doesn't either.

class=362214000-14022004>Suppose I just should give it a go, but a quick
look with a hex editor showed what looked like undelimited strings with
their length stored before them. I could fake that too, with enough work,
but it looked pretty unlikely to be a straightforward text
    replacement.

I'm doing some cleanup in my standard include file, and
ideally, thatincludes renaming some functions. Is there any way to
do a search andreplace across all existing custom indicators, to
replace the old names withthe new ones? The Broker.charts files are
where this info is kept, andthey're binary files that it's not wise
        to replace in, right?Dave
