On my old computer (Win 98SE), I right-click on the attachment 
and pick QuickView from the list.
Since it is only a viewer and doesn't enable executables, I 
have never gotten an infection (so far).
 
Kinda funny.... Some posts by the moderators of other groups 
have gotten the SpamGuard gong within their own groups.
 
Over time, I have setup my own spam filters which have worked 
great. Now Yahoo in its infinite wisdom came up with this.
 
Perhaps they are using a little psych to convince us that the 
old spam is not as bad as the new 'guard'.
