Sure - For each day, it compares the that day's month to the month of the
4th previous day. If the months are different, it means you are within the
1st 4 days of a new month. If the months are the same, then you must be on
at least the 5th day of the month. I am assuming your data only contains
trading days, so we dont really need to consider calender days.
