It seems that he has detected that some users download his 1-month free
trial program and trial subscription and then keep downloading the trial
or the program (I am not sure which) every 3.9 weeks in order to rip off
his system.  It is like a vendor offering a free trial and then not
programming it cleverly so that people can test the system for some
period of time and NOT be able to scam the system----and at the same
time not interfere with customers who subscribe or who have paid
legitimately.  This two-week update trick is the method to foil the
scammers.  All in the creativity of the programmer I guess.

Still this seems to be very weird practice from FastTrack to shutdown
access to 
all applications using FastTrack.DLL if data are old...
