The Clearwater Conference is in two weeks.
Bill Barack has designed and written a wonderful school workshop for
the first two days. He starts with basic charting and the built-in
indicators and takes you through custom parameters, automatic
analysis, and back-testing, to optimization. What he shows you is how
useful Amibroker can be for a complete system program.
The Conference is loaded with great information. It starts with
Werner Gansz and Relative Volume, goes to Bill Barack again who shows
you how to rank between poles with all the parameters you use --- UI,
UPI, MDD, and Sharpe Ratio.
Bruce Robinson will introduce a new model and a tool for developing
composite trading systems that use multiple signals and varying
commitment to maximize risk-adjusted return.
Ken Close and Gary Serkoshian will round it out with Amibroker's
Portfolio Ranking System. This is above and beyond what we can do now.
