You can add new Categories to your WorkSpace using Symbols -> Categories ->
SelectOnOfTheTabs and Edit Name a numbered category.
You can Assign secuties to these Categories using Symbols -> Assignments...
be cautious here as a security can only exist in one Category at a time.
When you delete a security here it is removed (cannot be undone) from your
DataBase.
For the Buy, Short, etc. Categories you should use a Watchlist (also visible
in the WorkSpace). Watchlists are unique in that they can contain stocks
that also are present in other categories. Note that There is a special
WatchList pop up menu you can make appear whit a Right-Click over a selected
security.
good look, please read up in Help before making changes to your data base,
it is easy to delete by accident the wrong stock.

yes as a newbie, i would like to make the workspace window more
customizable.
I want my long stocks to be in a "Long" folder, my short stocks to be in a
"Short" folder, my stocks which are buys, (but i do not own yet) to be in
"On a Buy" folder and on and on!!! I would also like to drag & drop the
symbols around to the different folders--as well as keeping them ALWAYS in
the "ALL" folder.
see what happens when someone suggests something----it just keeps growing...

and thanks guys for a VERY informative group...hopefully one day i'll be
