I would like to be able to select several watchlists at
once to run a scan on.  I tried to use ORGANIZE ASSIGNMENTS to COPY all of
the watch lists  to an ALL STOCKS watchlist.  It will not copy them ,
it only MOVES them to another list.  I have not yet tried to COPY all
of the watchlists to FAVORITES.  I haven't yet found the time to read this
series of posts on watchlists. Can I COPY all of the
watchlists to FAVORITES?  Is there another way to scan all of
the lists at once?  Ron D

  Subject: RE: [amibroker] Scanning
  specific watchlists

Thanks for all the help Jayson, Graham, and Herman.  It was actually
the "clear" idea that Graham suggested.  I hit clear in the filter and
then added my watchlist and it worked fine - I assumed if I entered
"undefined" in each of the fields it would be the same as a blank field
  but I was wrong.

While I have your attention, what is the easiest way to get a group of
industry tickers into a watchlist without having to do it manually?  I
just started using QP and I want to get sector indexes with tickers
!Id001 through !ID198 into a single watchlist.  Would I use the
"categorygetname" function to do this?  I was thinking I could create a
scan that would produce these results and then I would simply add them to
  a watchlist.

  Thanks    Jayson

    size=2>Jason,
    be
sure there are in fact stocks in the watch list you selected or that your
criteria. Go to View/workspace, then expand your watchlists to see what
stocks are in your WL of choice. The second thing to check is that your
selection criteria is possible. Perhaps your scan is empty because the "Buy"
    is not possible??

    Herman,

I tried using the filter function but got no results when I hit the
scan button.  What I did was go to use filter and "define"
then select the watchlist I wanted but nothing came up - just like you
suggested.  Any idea what may be going on?  I changed every
category to undefined except for the watchlist

Is there a way  to run an AA exploration/scan on an
individual watchlist rather than the entire database?   I'm
interested in conducting sector scans and also running one
scan on the entire database and then taking those results and
          running them through another scan.

          Thanks,
          Jason
