Once you get the basics, follow Graham's example, and help people with their code problems. It's like managing a dozen programmers, and fixing a dozen different problems. It will dramatically improve the learning curve.
Thanks to Graham, Jayson, Dimitris, Fred, Dingo, and Anthony for setting a great example which I finally have finally followed : )

Best way is to check the help pages etc, and the AFL library, plus the millions of emails in this group :)
If you used MS I gather you never did any exploration/indicator writing for that either because there are only relatively minor differences in the methods, just that AB is better, faster and more flexible.
There is also a product that adds on to AB for programming beginners, see the home webpage of AB, I think it is called Powerscan
