Best way is to check the 
help pages etc, and the AFL library, plus the millions of emails in this group 
:)
 
If you used MS I gather you 
never did any exploration/indicator writing for that either because there are 
only relatively minor differences in the methods, just that AB is better, faster 
and more flexible.
 
There is also a product 
that adds on to AB for programming beginners, see the home webpage of AB, I 
think it is called Powerscan
