I only use custom charts, 
so am not certain what a real chart looks like ;-)
 
I just checked with the 
built in and mine shows the full number with thousands separators even for one 
with 107m shares traded today.

    The volume is just 
    8million (8x10^6). In most computer programs the power of 10 is generally 
    shown as "e"

      Have a look at this insert of my Title Bar in 
      AB...particularly at the strange Volume figure ... this only happens with 
      share with big volumes...must I use some or other Math function to fix 
      this ?
