Hello,
I have checked it now also with Outlook 2000 and it works for
me in ALL three cases: text, HTML and RTF.
Anyway since it looks like Microsoft compatibility problem, I
decided to turn off this feature by default in 4.48.2.
People having no problems with
outlook (like me) will be able to turn it on via
Tools->Preferences->Editor.

works fine in plain text and in rich text just not in plain old HTML. As I
mentioned earlier little time should be spent on this as there are simple work
arounds....
