The horizontality does not need special care.
Any y=3; line will be horizontal [equal to 3 for any bar]
A y=lastvalue(highest(C)); will be also horizontal, equal to the 
highest Close price.
A y=highest(C); will not be horizontal as [probable]new highs are 
added to the Close array. If your data are from 1996 till now, the 
highest(C) was not ALWAYS the lastvalue(highest(C)) we know today.
