Sorry d, I should have read your original message more carefully.

In your case, I think you would just need a wireless access point 
(http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?
grid=33&scid=35&prid=501), not a full wireless router.  An access 
point would merely expand your existing wired network.  You'd plug it 
into an empty port on your current router.

Your best bet might be to get in touch with your preferred vendor of 
wireless products and they will confirm your product needs.
